You wake in the Mileth Inn
Finish the tutorial now and you come to inside the Mileth Inn, not on the street outside it, with Riona the innkeeper right there to meet you.
Talk to her and she sets you on your way. You have left your old life behind and become an Aisling, free to make your own path, and she points you toward finding a guide and seeing a bit of the world. For saying hello she hands you five hundred experience.
She keeps a small ritual, too. Ask her about your birth and she walks you through it, the town you grew up in and the sun and moon you were born under, then writes it into your legend, a short line of who you were before the spark took you. Answer with care. Once it is set it is not meant to be undone.
A name fix rode along: hers had ended up on the wrong shop for a bit. There is one Riona in town now, and she is exactly where she should be.
It is a quiet thing, but it is the first face you meet once training ends, and that handshake sets the tone for everything after. From here we keep working down the Mileth list, the townsfolk who should have something to say, the first quests, the stairs down into the crypt.
